Sometimes in life we find ourselves without a clear cut path. Either we come to a fork in the road and we must choose which way is correct or the road is covered with so many weeds and overgrowth that we can no longer even see it. We have a choice to make – we can either go by our own judgment or feelings or we can ask God for guidance. God sees the beginning and the end. And He already has a desired outcome for our lives because His plans are for a hope and a future. And through His Holy Spirit we can stay on the path that leads us there. When the path becomes obscure and murky, we must rely on Holy Spirit to be our guide. Life’s attempts to throw us off course are futile if we are led by the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:14 (NLT)
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
John 16:13 (NLT)
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.
Isaiah 58:11 (NLT)
11 The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
