It is difficult to believe that 2017 is almost over. Where did the year go?!? Our lives and our world seem to be spinning at a much faster pace. And many times, we realize that we did not take the time to enjoy life or appreciate those in it. So it would be good to set some goals for the new year. Start small. Little changes can make a big difference. Life is meant to be rich and satisfying and if yours is not, then something is wrong.
If you moved it, put it back.
If you dropped it, pick it up.
If you took the last one, replace it.
If you’re consistently 10 minutes late, leave 15 minutes earlier.
If you don’t need it, don’t buy it, even if it’s on sale.
Look for something positive in that person who irritates you.
Your opinion doesn’t always matter. Give it only when asked.
Listen to what’s being said, don’t think about what you’re going to say.
Don’t compare yourself to anybody.
Send a card not a text.
If there’s another side to a story, get it before you pass judgment.
If you told someone you’d pray for them, pray for them!
Sometimes people need your help, not your prayers.
You can’t change people, only how you react to them.
Eliminate what doesn’t bring glory to God.
Speak only those things that agree with God’s Word.
Don’t speak those things that are as though they were not. Speak those things that are not as though they were.
Don’t blame God for the bad things.
If your life is not rich and satisfying, consider Jesus!
10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. John 10:10 (NLT)
